Trek Toubkal 2024 – Mission Complete!

UPDATE: We are thrilled to announce that our Toubkel team completed the 4,176m climb in the early hours of the morning on Friday 31st May and raised a huge £24,000 for the Centre.

This years overseas challenge sees 8 Chiltern Centre supporters take on the dizzy heights of the tallest Atlas Mountain in Morocco, Mount Toubkal.

After months of preparation in 2023 the expedition could not go ahead as planned due to the earthquakes. Now we have the green light for their departure on 28th May 2024.

Our fearless 8 include Jane Ainslie, our Fundraising Manager and Nick Steel who is our Fundraising Trustee. Between them both they have taken on the mighty Thames Path, trekked across the Jordanian desert and even summitted Kilimanjaro.

Joining them we have Ben Ansell, Jenny Williamson, Malcolm McGilchrist, Matt Mackinnon, Marc Gross and Cheryl Purver.

As a team they have raised an incredible amount of money.
