Trek Toubkal in aid of the Chiltern Centre

The Chiltern Centre is delighted to announce the launch of our next fundraising trek with 360 Expeditions. This time taking on the highest of the Atlas Mountains, mount Toubkal. In 2019 and 2021 the Chiltern Centre’s fundraising treks to Kilimanjaro and Jordan respectively raised tens of thousands of pounds for the Centre whilst giving the participants the opportunity to have an experience of a lifetime.

Join us for your own experience of a lifetime, from Tuesday 28 May to Sunday 2 June 2024. Reach the almighty 4167m Toubkal peak, making your way through ancient villages and along rocky paths to the refuge where we begin our ascent to the summit. Morocco offers colourful culture, friendly Berbers and sprawling mountains that make this a truly unforgettable adventure.

The diverse itinerary gives you the best chance of summiting an iconic 4,000m mountain, while offering a taste of the wonderful  Moroccan  country and culture in a short timescale. We start our journey in  Marrakech, Morocco’s fascinating, frenetic and other-worldly capital before transferring to the foothills of the Atlas. 

As part of the Chiltern Centre team you will have the unique experience of trekking with a group of people with a common goal and desire to support young adults with disabilities. You will make friends to last a life time, and at the same time change the lives of friends and families at home.

What will it cost?

There are three different options to fund the trip, each one raising valuable funds for the Chiltern Centre. The two fundraising options are both set with minimum fundraising targets that ensure at least 60% of funds raised come to the Centre with 40% contributing to the remaining trip costs. The fundraising targets must be reached in order for the Chiltern Centre to release the funds for the trip.
