I have lived in the Henley area for over 25 years. I am the proud father to 4 wonderful children and Gramps to an ever growing collection of Grand children. For the last 40 years II have worked in the Gas Industry and currently am lucky enough to have a job that allows me flexibility to be able to give time to my family and my favourite past time, Golf.
In 2017 I was the Captain of Badgemore Park Golf Club and chose the Chiltern Centre as my charity for the year, through the support of the club members I managed to raise over £13,000 for the centre. At the end of the year I had the opportunity to maintain my relationship with the centre by becoming a Trustee.
Why you chose the Chiltern Centre
The Chiltern Centre was a perfect fit as my Captains Charity, I wanted a small local charity and because I am so lucky to have a happy and healthy family I wanted a charity that was involved with children and young people.
Your biggest Achievement
My proudest achievement is being at least in part responsible for my 4 wonderful, happy and healthy children. My biggest achievement is probably getting back to the same golf handicap that I had when I was 15 years old (5 and it was many years ago!!)
