Respite Care

Respite care is a short term, temporary relief to parents which enables them to recharge their batteries, and/or focus on their other family members for a short while or do something that the rest of us take for granted.

We support young people in a stimulating, safe and nurturing home-from-home environment while giving carers much needed respite from day-to-day responsibilities.

Promoting choice, positive self-image and individual identity is at the heart of our work.

Helping become more independent

We aim to give young people the chance to learn social and life skills, to integrate within the community, improve their self-esteem and help them lead more independent lives.

We work in partnership with Pathways at Henley College, Abingdon College, Bishopswood School and Chiltern Edge, and many other educational organisations connected with young adults in our care.

Join the Chiltern Centre

The extended community of professionals we work with who support young people with disabilities and their families enables us to offer a full scope of services and there are many ways to get involved and be part of our team.
