Background History

Following university I had a career with BT where I qualified as an accountant. Whilst on maternity leave I resigned to accompany my husband to California for two years. On our return we moved to Henley where we have lived for over 30yrs now. I worked as an accountant helping to run several small businesses whilst raising our family. We have two adult daughters.

Why you chose the Chiltern Centre
I was approached to join the Chiltern Centre by the previous FD – so the honest answer is that the Chiltern Centre chose me!

Your biggest Achievement
With the Centre it would be helping rescue it from closure following the financial crisis of 2010, and then appointing a suitably qualified and experienced person to run the financial side of the charity.

My other biggest achievements are to do with my family and are personal. But I am proud of finally learning to play golf!
