Meet the Team

Keith Manning

Centre Manager

Keith has over 20 years experience working in child centred practices: Safeguarding, Placement Planning, Health Plans/Risk Assessments, Behavioural Management, Every Child Matters & Child Protection.  He leads our highly skilled, experienced team – enabling us to help give the young people the best possible start in life.

Our Care Team

The Chiltern Centre has a team of 10 care staff providing a high standard of care to the children and young people who use our services.  Our care team is friendly and expert in helping people with learning disabilities, communication difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, complex health needs, complex behaviour support needs and much more.

Gareth Groves

Deputy Manager

Gareth has spent the past 18 years working in social care settings and held a managerial position within the Epilepsy Society for 9 years.  He supports Keith in the day to day running of the Centre and is one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads.

We are very proud of the long term commitment our Volunteers give us at the Chiltern Centre.

Some of our volunteers received care from the Chiltern Centre themselves in the past.  They act as positive role models to the young people currently in our care.

We have a team of 3 Administrators, who support the Management and Care Team

We have a dedicated team of Fundraisers Jane, Harriet and Liz who also lead a group of fundraising volunteers, willing to support the work to raise publicity, funds and the profile of the Chiltern Centre.

We are very grateful for the continued support of our Patrons:

  • Alex Haigh
  • Lady McAlpine
  • Phillip Schofield
  • Gaie Scouller
  • Jane Wates OBE
