What we do

  • The Centre is a wonderful, purpose-built home-from-home in the heart
    of Henley-on-Thames.
  • Our range of care services gives disabled children and young people aged between 6 – 25 the chance to get the most out of life, whilst giving practi- cal support to parents and families caring for a disabled child
  • The Centre provides a warm, safe and stimulating envi- ronment with a positive and relaxed atmosphere.
  • By removing the barriers that many disabled young people face, we enable them to so- cialise and enjoy them- selves whilst enjoying a broad range of leisure and developmental activities including art, drama and crafts as well as activities to support independence at an appropriate level.

Why We Need Your Support

  • Support like yours helps us retain our dedicated staff; provides activities for the children; and allows us to bring in fresh ideas.
  • The Chiltern Centre is reliant on the local community for funding. Invest- ment from committed individuals like you makes up a significant part of this funding. This regular income enables us to plan our specialist care over the longer term.
  • All Friends donations to the Chiltern Centre for Disabled Children are nor- mally eligible for Gift Aid (except £5 per month 100 Club entry), increasing funding and enabling us to continue to support our young people in a safe and caring environment.
