Helping disabled children and young people to live life to the full, while supporting their families in their vital role of caring, the Chiltern Centrehelp families with a disabled child enjoy the everyday experiences most take for granted.

For seven years the Centre has been supporting eighty five families from across the Thames Valley and South Oxfordshire by providing short break stays and daycare for children and young people learning disabilities and often complex medical health needs. Our care is outstanding and provides a vital life line for the families who come to us. This has only been possible thanks to the generosity of people like you.

Our support is individually tailored to meet the specific needs of each child, young person and their family. Children and young people using The Chiltern Centre have multiple and complex physical, emotional, behavioural and long-term health-care needs.

Building Our Future Appeal
In common with most charities we experienced a dramatic fall in grant funding from corporations and trusts; and this at a time when local authority cuts make the outlook for social care budgets very uncertain. As a result of these pressures, The Chiltern Centre launched the Building Our Future Appeal to maintain our existing care and expand our service following the addition of 2 new bedrooms at the Chiltern Centre. Please help The Chiltern Centre continue caring.
