Community Support and Fundraising

The Chiltern Centre is a small charity which makes a big impact on the families it looks after and as fundraisers we are confident that every penny raised goes towards providing the outstanding care the staff  give to the young people who use it.

The support of our community has been at the heart of our success. There are many ways you can help us raise the £470,000 that is needed each year to keep The Chiltern Centre’s doors open for the children and families we support.

If you would like to organise or help at a fundraising event or simply encourage your children’s school, local businesses or your friends to get involved, you will be helping us all the way.  TeamChiltern will be there to support you.

If you can help please contact us, we can offer advice and guidance whenever needed and can provide all the materials you need - balloons, t-shirts, posters, just ask!
Please contact Emma Lerche-Thomsen our community fundraiser by email emma@chilterncentre.org.uk or call 01491575575

Calling all community groups, churches and clubs
Are you a member of a local group who supports a charity? Why not nominate The Chiltern Centre. We’d love to be your charity of the year or perhaps you could run an event or arrange a collection on our behalf?

To support your efforts we can arrange for a TeamChiltern speaker to come to your community group or place of worship and talk about the work of the Chiltern Centre.
If you would like a speaker to visit and help raise awareness of the work we do please call Emma on 01491 575575 or email emma@chilterncentre.org.uk

TeamChiltern
We are fortunate to be supported by a number of small groups who arrange a variety of events to fundraise for The Chiltern Centre and provide volunteer support.

All of these groups would welcome new faces – or maybe you’d like to get a group together and organize your own event?

We would love to hear from you – please get in touch with Jo Roberts, our TeamChiltern coordinator on 01491 575575 or email jo@chilterncentre.org.uk

Schools, Colleges and Universities
Fundraising can be creative and lots of fun.  It also provides an opportunity to work with others and meet new people.  It’s a great way to learn about social responsibility and working within a team.

If you would like your school or college to support The Chiltern Centre, please speak to a member of staff and get their permission - we would love to have your help and you can be sure any money you raise will really benefit the children at the Chiltern Centre.

Whether it’s the whole school or just your class we have plenty of ideas about how you can help us and have fun too! We’ve got plenty of fundraising ideas and great tips to help make any event a success.

For more information, ideas and FREE fundraising materials, please get in touch with Jo Roberts on 01491 575575or email: jo@chilterncentre.org.uk
